Commercial Window Fabrication Technician

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ø  Enter and process fabrication orders from project drawings or customer take-offs.

Ø  Written and verbal communications with inter-departmental contacts, sales representatives, and outside customers.

Ø  Prepare manufacturing job documentation.

Ø  Prepare shop and detail drawings and documents utilizing AutoCAD and other company software, as required.

Ø  Other technical duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Desired characteristics for job candidate:

Ø  Good technical math skills

Ø  Basic problem solving skills

Ø  Knowledge of construction blueprints

Ø  Knowledge of window & door construction

Ø  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ø  Good attendance

Ø  Time management skills – will be required to work on multiple projects at various stages of completion

Ø  Self motivated

Ø  Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Ø  Basic AutoCAD skills

Winco will provide training for company software
