What We Do

PRODUCTS
WINCO manufactures fixed 2", 3-1/4" 3-1/2" and 4" and 4-1/2" deep systems; projected, casement and drop head in-swing 2" 3-1/4" 3-1/2"and 4" deep systems; double hung 4" and 4-1/2" and single hung 4" deep units and sliding windows that are 4" and 4-1/4" deep and produces window wall systems that can combine all of these systems in thermal and non-thermal high performance applications. The company manufactures window and wall systems for high-rise buildings, schools, state and federal facilities and for other institutional structures, with flexibility to permit manufacturing of large and small jobs, which require fast production and delivery, as illustrated by a 15 business-day Express Program.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
WINCO’s experienced engineering department, headed by
43-year man Ted Harmon, works closely with architects and installers to develop solutions to the most demanding technical and site challenges. One comprehensive computer system at WINCO performs estimating, shop drawings, detailing, fabrication, shop data, layouts and order tracking, creating synchronization unmatched in the industry.
FINISHING
Sister company, ARCHITECTURAL METALS INCORPORATED provides state-of-the-art finishing plant, quality anodizing for WINCO products as well as for other companies including Alumax, Hydro-Wells Aluminum, Imperial Ornamental, Modern Metals, Foreman Fabricators, American Fiber-lite, American Device and many others. Along with anodizing, AMI also offers a full line of painting and metal forming options for their customers.
GLASS
WINCO’s glass needs for single and insulated orders are furnished on-site by ARCHITECTURAL GLASS PRODUCTS another subsidiary of WINCO. By utilizing a new glass processing optimizer that cuts glass within tolerances of .015, AGP has earned the highest rated insulated glass certification possible, the coveted CBA rating.
DELIVERY
WINCO flexible and fast production turnaround times meet tight school vacation construction deadlines with manufacturing operations allowing for efficient completion of both large and small jobs, as illustrated by a 15-Business-Day Standard Products program.
